Google News Bug or Tricking the Search Engines - Wrong Time/Date Stamp

I'm a die hard fan of Google News and at least 4-5 times everyday, I heads to its technology section in order to keep myself updated with the latest technology, especially the smartphones, social media, cars and what's happening on the web.

But, in the morning today on 19th July 2013, I saw a news heading "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 range of Android Tablets to be launched in India Tomorrow" from the source Daily News & Analysis. And, Google news is showing that the news is published just 12 minutes ago. Have a look at the below snapshot

Another Snapshot below:

In Fact, the Galaxy Tab 3 tablets already launched in India on 18th July, Now, to justify the story above, I took a snapshot of the news on DNA, it is showing that the story was published on 17th July, 13. Have a look at the snapshot again:

So, the confusion here is that, is it a kind of Google Bug or Google can't understand the meaning of the title (Tomorrow) or DNA is trying to trick search engines to get the same story displayed even days after and attract traffic?

I would definitely like to ask +Danny Sullivan and +Barry Schwartz and +Matt Cutts about this.

Also, you too share your views on this.

  1. Most probably the dating has something to do with the date the blog or the news had been published.
